For nearly 200 years St Paul’s has stood just outside Chichester’s old city wall and north gate, as a place of prayer and worship. St Paul’s has been there to support generations of local people mark life’s milestones, to seek God’s presence, and to serve the wider community. Like all Parish Churches, to continue to be a place of worship and hospitality we rely on the generosity of our regular congregation, and others, to maintain our church life and ministry, and to care for our buildings and churchyard. St. Paul’s doesn’t receive any financial support from the central Church of England and so we are hugely grateful to all who make individual donations or are able to make regular donations to the life of our church.

Donations can also be made using our card readers which are inside the west doors of both the church and the parish centre.
Regular Donations
If you would like to set up regular monthly donations we use the Church of England’s Parish Giving Scheme (known as PGS) which allows us to receive your gift by Direct Debit.
There are 3 ways you can arrange to do this.
- By Phone. Simply call 0333 002 1271, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, and the PGS team will ask for all the information needed to complete your Direct Debit instruction. You will need to provide them with the Parish Code for St. Paul’s which is 100610056, as well as your bank account details.
- Online. Simply follow this link https://www.parishgiving.org.uk/donors/find-your-parish/st-paul-s-chichester-chichester add in the regular amount you would like to give and then click on ‘register’ which enables you to set up an account with them and directs you to complete the online form.
- Complete a form. Finally you can download and complete the form below and post to ‘Parish Giving Scheme’ 76 Kingsholm Road Gloucester GL1 3BD
