At St. Paul’s we believe that ‘God is Love, and those who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.’ (1 John 4. 16). We want to recognise all that is good in relationships between same-sex couples- giving thanks for their faithfulness and their fruitfulness in service to God and neighbour and honouring a couple’s commitments to one another. As such we are able to offer a selection of readings and prayers for same-sex couples who wish to mark and give thanks for their love in God’s presence. These prayers have been approved for use by the Church of England and are able to be used in one of our regular services. We are delighted to have the opportunity to help couples celebrate their love for one another in God’s presence.
